I started with no French at all and worried I would fall behind. Because the batches stay small, my instructor could hear each of us speak and correct us on the spot. By the end of A1 I could hold a simple conversation.

The grammar finally made sense to me here. Verb tenses that used to tangle me up were broken down clearly, with plenty of examples in every session. I never once walked out of a class feeling lost.
